2011 has, let’s be honest, been a slow year for SMR. Whilst we put out one of our most amibitious projects to date with the release of Ska Mutiny Superstars, we just never managed to knock it up that extra notch. Things are definitely going to change in regards to that this year. We have a couple of download projects in the pipeline, and we have a couple of physical releases planned too. More on all of these as and when we refine the details!

For now though the first exciting thing we’re going to do for you this year is to announce that both of our physical releases (Ska Mutiny Superstars and Triple Threat) are now available as downloads via the Ska Mutiny Records Bandcamp page. There is a small charge for the downloads, but anything you do contribute goes directly back into funding future releases, as well as the day to day running of the label. At the moment the most exciting thing i can tell you in regards to future plans is Eat Defeat (the band i’m a part of) are currently holed up in the studio, in the initial stages of recording our debut album. It’s exciting times all round! Expect very, very exciting things this year…
